About
Bertino Consulting is a content systems practice led by Joe Bertino, a design consultant who uses language to simplify complex products.
For over a decade, Joe has worked with leading fintechs — including Klarna, Tink, and Trustly — writing and designing content that ensures compliance and drives sustainable growth.
Today, that same approach extends beyond fintech into media and gaming. His current embedded assignment is with Mojang Studios, where he ships copy to code alongside designers and engineers from Minecraft's core UI and design system teams.
Originally from upstate New York, Joe has worked with agencies and startups across New York City, San Francisco, and Copenhagen. He's been based in Stockholm since 2014, where he lives with his wife and children.

How I like to collaborate
I work best as part of your team — hybrid in Stockholm or fully remote across the EU. Engagements start at six months, billed hourly at 1 200 SEK. I'm open to occasional travel when it adds value.
